Nav has been a dedicated part of the team since 2016 and comes with 10 years of optical expertise.  Nav is an optical dispenser and optometric assistant and her precision comes through in her spectacle prescription verification (checking your glasses when they come back from the lab to make sure they were properly manufactured).  She's also amazing with her edging skills in the lab.  For those that have met Nav, you recognize her calm demeanor as she helps you select your perfect frame, selects the best matching lens design and is steadfastly there to help you troubleshoot any adaptation issues.  You also know her endless encouragement during a contact lens training.  Nav has a great knack of picking frames and meets with our frame sales reps to decide what is best for our patient community with an eye for the latest trends.

Nav is looking forward to serving you at Dr. Fink's office.

Optical Technician, Pretester, Optometric Assistant

Sylvia came from a restaurant and food handling background so transitioning from the restaurant industry to the optometry industry was a HUGE change for her. Sylvia’s experience in customer communication and team collaboration from that background helped Sylvia easily transition into the office and adapt that skill set to patient care. Sylvia has always enjoyed technology and has always been able to figure out her way through it! Sylvia has always had the drive and desire to learn more and to gain as much knowledge about any and every subject. The desire to want to learn more helped Sylvia quickly integrate all the clinical and optometry technology skills. From day 1 of working at Dr. Fink’s office, Sylvia absolutely loved the job and everyone that was a part of the team! Sylvia loves learning more about optometry, the human eye, and vision, she finds it absolutely fascinating, and she just can’t get enough of it! Sylvia has been a great asset to the team and is excited to help patients see better, solve any problems they may have, and stay healthy.

In her free time, Sylvia enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially her puppy Misho! She also enjoys simply taking care of herself whether that's going to the gym and eating healthy or staying in pj's all day long and watching Netflix.

Sylvia is honored and ecstatic to be a part of Dr. Fink’s team and she looks forward to meeting and serving more of the patients of this practice.
