I graduated from McMaster University with honors Bachelor of Science (Biochemistry) in 2015. Following that, I completed Doctorate of Optometry from University of Waterloo.
During the course of my study, I had the opportunity of completing an ocular disease externship at OMNI Eye Services (Atlanta, Georgia) where I co-managed ocular pathology, such as glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy in addition to providing care for emergency referrals as well as pre and post-operative care for patient undergoing cataract/retinal surgeries. Other internships provided exposure to vision therapy for pediatric population and post-concussion patients; hence, have developed an interest in assisting patients with binocular dysfunction and post-concussion vision syndrome. Additionally, I am currently a member of Ontario Association of Optometrist (OAO), Optometry Extension Program (OEP), and Canadian Optometrists in Vision Therapy and Rehabilitation (COVT&R).
In my spare time, I enjoy fitness, hiking, and playing sports.
